What's MOVEpwr?

I started dancing almost 20 years ago. I currently practice yoga for at least 10 hours a week. For years, I have found myself in the way I move my body, whether it is on a stage in pointe shoes, on my mat in a yoga studio, or even getting down  and boogieing on the dance floor with my friends. I have experienced first hand the way that movement can change lives, alter attitudes, and most importantly, heal.

I created MOVEpwr to tell others about my experiences, to share my education in psychology, and to inspire healing movement in others. MOVEpwr, therefore, is designed to be the intersection of movement, healing, and the brain. Through diligent research, exploration, and self-reflection, I have created a site for people of all professions, abilities, and interests, but especially those who want to heal themselves or others, to learn more about why movement is medicinal and how you can integrate it into your life or the life of people you love.
