A Bit About Emma Yergin
Hello! My name is Emma Yergin and I am a writer. I am in T Hetzel's winter 2018 Gateway to the Writing Minor class! I am so excited to be able to share my work with you.
I am from South Lyon, Michigan, and while I love being at the University of Michigan along side my older brother, I also love being close to home, my three cats, and my sister. In my spare time, you are sure to find me crafting, traveling, building sandcastles, and listening to comedians. I am also an avid dancer, color guard coach, and yogi. I find true beauty in the art that the body can make. I have danced since age 2, and I am especially appreciative of the physical movement arts after my recent ACL surgery. I try to take this new vigor and apply it to the rest of my life, as well. Being passionate for things like dance truly fuels my fire for life!
Feel free to read my Why I Write piece to learn more about my background as a writer and my passion for writing! You can also scroll down for a small gallery of images from my life.
