Writing 220: Gateway for Writing Minors

This site is devoted to the work I've created in my Writing 220 class. This gateway course is designed for writing minors at the University of Michigan who are well versed in academic writing, but need time to explore other types of composition. Its clever design allows students to take a piece of writing that they had previously created and give it three makeovers into experiments of new medium, mode, genre, etc. Then, the students choose one of these experiments to develop into a final project. Getting such experience is crucial in a world that utilizes all kinds of writing and composing, from Buzzfeed articles to research reports to music videos.
